Calls for Targeted Sanctions Grow Louder As South Sudan’s Leaders Miss #60DayDeadline

Posted by Akshaya Kumar on August 12, 2014
For the past two months, the Enough Project has been counting down to mediators' 60 day deadline to establish a transitional government of national unity for South Sudan. However, instead of committing themselves to peace talks, South Sudan's leaders have done almost everything except sit down and make the tough concessions necessary to forge peace through negotiations.
