'How It Ends' Draws Huge Crowd of Activists to Washington
Posted by Laura Heaton on Jun 22, 2009
How It Ends, a two-day long conference and advocacy event, kicked off this morning at the convention center in Washington, D.C. Over a thousand activists from across the United States have convened to raise awareness about the scourge of the Lord's Resistance Army, or LRA, a brutal rebel movement that has terrorized Central Africa for more than 20 years. Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court Luis Moreno-Ocampo is giving opening remarks now and will be followed by a panel of leading experts on the LRA, including Enough's Co-founder John Prendergast. Tune in live here.

Awesome event!!
