Not On Our Watch Broadcast
Last Sunday night, Enough partnered with the broadcasting company Church Communication Network to deliver a live broadcast about the genocide in Darfur and how the Christian community across the country can mobilize to help bring peace to the region. The broadcast, based on the best selling book Not On Our Watch by Enough's John Prendergast and actor Don Cheadle, was viewed by over 90 participating churches. More than 1,000 members watched the action live at Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church just outside Dayton, Ohio, where Senior Pastor Mike Slaughter served as host for the night.
The broadcast, which featured Prendergast and Omer Ismail from Enough, in addition to prominent religious figures, focused on providing background information on the conflict in Sudan and highlighted important advocacy steps for the church community to help end the genocide.
