Relief?
According to Senator John Kerry, who is now in Khartoum, the government of Sudan intends to allow more relief to flow into Darfur. I don't have his statement in detail, but I am guessing that this also suggests Sudan would allow some of the 13 banned international relief organizations to resume operations. Of course, as with all things related to the government of Sudan, we will believe it when we see it. Senator Kerry also indicated that Special Envoy Scott Gration would be returning to Sudan in early May. More to follow.

No Compromise About Banned NGOs
Dear John Norris The decision taken by the goverment of the Sudan to dismiss 13 foreign aid organization was not an act of retaliation as a result of the ICC arrest warrant against president al-Bashir but because they have violated the rules organizing their works in the Sudan and commiting acts harmful to the state security and violating to its soverignity. It has been proven that some of those organizations have provided the ICC false reports to strengthen its case against president al-Bashir and even participating in transfering witnesses to deliver unreal testimonies in Hague. By commiting such harmful acts, the chance for them to resume operations will not be a subject of any political compromise as strongly confirmed by all Sudanese officials from the president downward.
