Rep. Spencer Bachus joins the Darfur Fast for Life

Congressman Spencer Bachus (R-AL) is in the midst of a day-long, water-only fast in an effort to increase awareness about the plight of thousands of innocent civilians suffering in Darfur. Congressman Bachus joins a growing bipartisan group of policy makers, activists and everyday people who taking part in a fasting chain to call for an end to the horrific situation in Darfur.
Congressman Bachus has consistently supported legislation aimed at ending the violence and improving the humanitarian conditions in Darfur. He is a member of the Sudan Caucus in the House of Representatives.
