National Action Symposium on Women and Genocide in the 21st Century

The Darfur Women Action Group, STAND National, and the George Washington University STAND Chapter will host the Second Annual National Action Symposium on Women and Genocide in the 21st century on Saturday and Sunday, November 16th-17th    at George Washington University, with an optional accompanying Lobby Day on November 18th.  

 Join hundreds of activists, students, musicians, advocates, and experts, to hear the remarkable stories of survivors and participate in the development of a strategy for sustainable change in Sudan and around the world. 

Saturday, November 16 – 1:45 – 3:15pm – Join Enough Project's Sudan and South Sudan analyst Akshaya Kumar for a panel entitled, Strategies for Women’s Empowerment and Inclusion in Peace Building. 

 Registration is $20 for students and $75 for non-students. Lunch will be provided.
