Dear Netroots Colleagues,
Here at the Enough Project we advocate for building a permanent constituency to prevent genocide and crimes against humanity. We do this by providing tools and information that allow people from every walk of life to take practical, positive actions to help end some of our world’s most pressing conflicts. We have chosen this path of action because we believe that ordinary people can be more than spectators, they can be part of the peace process.
We believe that you, too, as progressive bloggers, have the power and responsibility to be part of that peace making process. We value the position and positive influence you have as bloggers to shape public discourse and effect change in your community and the broader world. That’s why we’re asking you to make a commitment to inform the public about foreign policy issues that demand action, and to engage your readership to demand change. It is especially important to inform the public about conflicts happening right now on the African continent, which are chronically underreported and misunderstood, despite being some of the world’s deadliest. You can help bring these issues into sharper focus, an incredibly important first step in ending these conflicts permanently. We believe that a heightened awareness about genocide and human rights abuses can lead to prevention of these crimes in the future. Please join us in this push for peace. We are grateful for your interest and value your support.
Sincerely,
The Enough Team
