Enough Staff

Enough is a project of the Center for American Progress to end genocide and crimes against humanity. Enough’s strategy papers and briefings provide sharp field analysis and targeted policy recommendations based on a “3P” crisis response strategy: promoting durable peace, providing civilian protection, and punishing perpetrators of atrocities. Enough works with concerned citizens, advocates, and policy makers to prevent, mitigate, and resolve these crises.

Enough started in 2006 when a small group of friends and colleagues in Washington, D.C., decided they couldn't keep watching the world reinvent the wheel every time mass atrocities lurched onto their television screens. Enough works with other activist groups to integrate advocacy and reporting with research and policy. Many of these groups and individuals had had enough even before there was Enough. We hope that the information in our real-time, up-to-date analysis and policy recommendations will help fuel their continuing advocacy efforts to abolish genocides and mass atrocities.

In addition to policy experts in Washington and field experts in Africa, the people of Enough are the voters, constituents, activists, and everyday people around the U.S. and beyond who support our mission and act to make the difference.
