The Future of Foreign Aid Under the Obama Administration

As the new Administration and Capitol Hill/ Congress sharpen their focus on the future of foreign aid, SID-Washington recognizes the importance of bringing many voices that work on various aspects of the foreign aid program into one room to dialogue together. SID- Washington is using its special niche as a knowledge broker bridging the full diversity of the foreign aid community to host such discussions with a series of panels on this most compelling topic.

Our first such panel will feature speakers from the non-profit sector, the for- profit sector, and a think tank. Each panelist will be asked to provide their best advice on foreign aid and the new Administration and Capitol Hill/ Congress, addressing such questions as purpose, legislation, delivery structure(s), and balance among initiatives.
