This screening is organized by Advocates for Congolese Woman (ACW), a nonprofit student organization at the University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC). Featuring a discussion with the filmmaker Lisa F. Jackson, Patrick Vinck, Director of the Berkeley-Tulane Initiative for Vulnerable Populations, and Dan Fahey, a PhD candidate at UC Berkeley studying the causes and effects of Uganda’s involvement from 1996-2007 in the DR Congo.
