In an effort to inform and mobilize the community to act on behalf of ending genocide, Jewish World Watch will hold its third WALK FOR DARFUR - WALK TO END GENOCIDE on the morning of June 7,2009, Pierce College Farm Center in the San Fernando Valley.

Last year, over 1400 individuals participated in the Walk from synagogues, schools and communities, and this year we anticipate at least 3,000 walkers. The Walk covers 3 miles on city streets in the West San Fernando Valley and it offers individuals a real opportunity to stand with others in opposition to genocide. The Walk for Darfur culminates in an AWARENESS FAIR with prominent members of the community addressing the crowd, information booths about Darfur and other human rights abuses, a solar cooker demonstration to showcase the JWW Solar Cooker Project and refreshments.
